CEREC

Perfect Look , Precise Fit

With CEREC we are able to provide our patients with perfectly fitting ceramic restorations such as fillings, partial crowns and crowns.

What is CEREC?
CEREC is a computer-aided technology  for the production of ceramic restorations for front and side teeth. CEREC stands for CEramic REConstruction. This technology was originally developed in the 1980s at the University of Zürich. It was first used on patients in 1985 and has been continually improved and updated since then.

The Technology
First we take a three-dimensional photograph of the area to be reconstructed using a special CEREC camera. This photograph is used to create a three-dimensional digital design on the CEREC computer unit. Based on this design the CEREC grinding unit constructs a precise replica from a solid ceramic block, which can then be fitted immediately.
This technology requires detailed knowledge and a high level of skill in order to be able to produce high quality results. Our many years of experience in the area of ceramic restoration combined with the speed and accuracy of CEREC technology offers optimum benefits for our patients.
